IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE REGISTERING
The organizers of the Course populaire de LaSalle are happy to announce that the Quebec Track and Field has agreed to recognize the 5 KM Women (9:35) and 5 KM Men (10:20) as TIMEX label for the Federation's point system.
All participants to the 10 km Timex race have been automatically registered to a women's 5 km race at 9:35 AM, and to a men's 5 km race at 10:20 AM. The race course of the original 5 km race at 8:50 AM, and of the two new 5 km races will consist of a little more than 1.6 km loop around the Pearson Adult Center school. The 5 km distance has been carefully measured and the start line will be approximately 100 meter west of the finish line.
By distributing the contestants in three competitions, the organizers want to insure that the participants will benefit from a pleasant race experience. Despite the difficult circumstances that are out of their control, the organizers are doing everything in their power to offer quality races and services to the participants. All runners registered on 10 KM will be contacted by the organizing comitee.
